Admission process at Cambridge School

Cambridge School welcomes applications from all nationalities and ability groups. We are currently enrolling children from Foundation Stage 1 (FS1) 2 to 10 year.

To make an application, please complete the Application Form and take it, together with the supporting documents listed below and the Application Fee of Rs. 300/- to the School.

Supporting Documents

• A copy of your child’s Birth Certificate *
• A copy of your Child’s Community Certificate *
• A copy of parent’s name and Address proof
• 6x passport size photos of your child
• 2 passport photos of mother, father and guardian
• Previous year’s school reports or nursery school reports
• Original should be brought while admitting the child

If your community certificate has not yet been processed, we are happy to accept your application whilst you gain these documents. We will need copies once this certificate have been granted.

Your child will be invited to an assessment session at the school where they will take part in age appropriate activities designed so that we can understand your child more fully. These sessions are usually held with a small group of children.

Whilst your child is being assessed, our team will be happy to answer any remaining questions that you may have.

We will confirm whether we are able to offer your child a place at the earliest once the education team has conducted a full review of the assessment to secure your child’s place, we will need you to sign and return the Acceptance Agreement, pay the Admission Fee and ensure that all documentation has been provided. To comply with the Ministry of Education guidance, a Health Certificate is required before your child starts at Cambridge School.

Cambridge School Policy and Forms

• Please collect the school policy documents in the office.
• Admission and Attendance policy/Curriculum Policy
• Health and Safety policy/ Medical and Immunization record and consent declaration
• Pollicy for the gifted and talented child.

It is a Ministry of Education requirement that all the students must submit a Transfer Certificate (TC) before they start School.

What is a Transfer Certificate

A TC must be in either English or Tamil and be stamped with your current School’s stamp.

Application Fee

An Application Fee of Rs.300/- must be paid prior to your child’s assessment. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Admission fee (deposit)

To secure your child’s place at Cambridge School, a non-refundable Admission Fee (Deposit) required within 7days of the offer. This will be deducted from the first term’s tuition fees.

Sibling Discounts

At Cambridge School, we recognize the importance of siblings attending the same school and are delighted to offer the following discounts:

• 5% discount for the 2nd child
• 5% discount for the 3rd child
• 10% discount for the 4th child
